Convert money (cash) for my overseas trip?

i'm going to Turkey late tonight, and my grandparents gave me 200 dollars and i'm going to use that as my spending money, my mom got me a credit card too but thats only for emergencies since i will be going with a friend who's dad is hosting a tour group and is from Turkey and i'm 16 :p but i can't take money off the credit card cause blahblahblah bank no pin, and i have a debit card but it'll probabley freeeze but at the airport can i convert CASH? to turkish money-liras? or should i just go to the bank today and do it?
