Is turkish delight gluten free?

Linda is right it is sugar, and water cooked to 220 D f, then they add either cornstarch or potato starch to thicken it, and this when they add the flavours and nuts, it is poured into forms with cornstarch and powdered sugar to rest over night, then it is cut and dusted with more PWS and boxed for sale, in the Middle East they will have piles of it in shops, I have made it as a chef, I like the rose water and lemon types with either pistachios or almond, some one may say it has gelatin but that is not true TD made in the Middle East and Turkey.
