I twisted my bigtoe about two weeks ago it still bait swollen?

I was feeding puppies when all of them just rushed at me and I didn't have shoes on at the time. I went to a wedding about a week after it happen and I saw that my foot was bigger than my other. My toe still hurt a bit when I moved it but not much. It's two weeks know and it's still swollen but my toe doesn't hurt unless I go on my toes and walk, my toe is swollen as well not huge but I can tell when I look at my other foot. What's wrong is it normal to have my foot swollen still?
