When buying a wedding anniversary clock, do my husband and I EACH buy one? Or buy one TOGETHER?

My husband and I have decided to go with the modern theme of wedding anniversary gifts, the first being a clock. Our question is do we EACH buy a clock for the other or do we buy ONE clock together?
