United States Mariens M.E.O.P program?

Hello I am in 10th grade, I am a muscician in my highschools marching, jazz, and wind ensemble. I play 6 different instruments and I am best at Tenor Saxaphone and Guitar. I also wish to learn french Horn. After i graduate I plan to join the USMC M.E.O.P (Musician enlistment option program) while in this will I still have tO fight in the war (if there still is any at the time) ? And what are my chances of going to war. Music is my passion and the Marine bands are the best of the best but I want to live a life of music not get killed. But I do love this country alot so i would take that risk. Thank you
