My body doesn't match my voice and I'm afraid typecasting will ruin any future of a broadway career?
My voice teacher (who has appeared on broadway and is a very respectable critic) says i have a fantastic voice but it doesn't match my type. I sang stars from les miserables and she said that obviously im never going to be singing that even though i have the voice for it. I'm 17 and I have a very deep and rich baritone sound. But I'm not very tall (about 5'7") and I don't have a very big build. She said I was more of what you'd expect the sidekick or the comic relief to be from appearance. But the problem is my voice doesnt sound that way and I'm not a tenor. I want to pursue a broadway career but I fear that I won't get any work. Is it likely that ill grow into my voice and get bigger or taller? Will my voice change any more through puberty and will i become a tenor? What can I do to give myself a better chance?
Wedding invitation question...have things really changed this much?
I'm going to be getting married soon, and personally my budget is VERY tight, pretty much whatever I need to buy for my wedding is going to be coming out of me and my fiance's Future living expenses. So If there was a place i could cut corners with. ESPECIALLY on the invitations I would certainly do so. I understand the whole scrapbooking thing that people do with these kind of things, but ya know, it's really up to the bride and she can do whatever she wants. And like the other person said, I would appreciate the person putting the registry stuff in with the invite. It would make things so much easier.
Where can i find 4 tier square cake pans?
I am looking for a 4 tier wedding cake pan set, all i can find is 3 tier. I need the cake to be able to feed 120. I am having trouble finding the pan set.
Is my range ok for a tenor?
Ok so i have been singing as a tenor soloist and in choirs for a while and i have recently been trying to find my limits and take on harder pieces. i have come to the conclusion that my range ends around an A or Bb. I know that isn't great but is it ok for a tenor?
What is the difference between an Alto and Tenor Saxophones?
Size, Length, weight, and tone. The bigger the SAX is, the deeper the tones will be. Maybe you could have a trial lesson if the owner would approve.
How Does A Clarinet Player learn how to play the Alto or Tenor Sax?
I am in the band at my school, I play the tenor saxophone. My two fellow tenor players both switched to tenor after playing clarinet. The alto sax reads Eb, the tenor reads Bb. The tenor is heavier but after playing it for a few days you wont even notice the weight anymore.
